Reconnaissance International Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions cover: newsletters, conferences, payment, pricing policy, manuals, guidebooks and other publications
Newsletters
Subscription rates are for one year from the date of the order and cover all published editions of the newsletter for a 12 month period. Postage is included within the subscription.
If a new subscriber is not satisfied with the newsletter to which they have recently subscribed and cancel their subscription within the first three months, we will refund their subscription payment in full. A cancellation for the same reason between 3-11 months will attract a refund of the balance of the subscription payment made.
No part of any of the newsletters may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or translated in any form or by any means – electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise – without the express permission of the publishers.
While every effort is made to check the information given in the newsletters, the authors, editors and publishers cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of, or caused by the use of, such information.
Opinions expressed in the newsletters are those of the individual authors and not necessarily those of the publishers.

Conferences
Reconnaissance International and its subsidiaries reserve the right to alter or amend the location, dates and content of any or all of its conferences and trade shows, in which case it will notify all participants as soon as possible.
Reconnaissance International will publicise a sponsor or exhibitor’s involvement on all relevant publicity materials from the date that the confirmation deposit is received.
Conference sponsors must pay 33% deposit at the time of their sponsorship being accepted and confirmed with the balance paid 12 weeks prior to the start of the conference. All sponsorship payments are non refundable
Exhibitors must pay a deposit of 33% at the time of reserving exhibition space with the balance paid in full 8 weeks before the start of the conference. Exhibitors’ deposits and payments will be refunded at the rate of 50% of the full invoice value, if notice of non attendance is given in writing 8 weeks before the start of the conference. No refund of exhibitors’ payments will be made if cancellation is within 8 weeks of the start of the conference.
Conference delegates will pay their fees at the time of booking. Delegates paying their fees at the time of the conference will incur an additional administration fee. Cancellations will be accepted and fees refunded (less a 25% administrative charge) if made in writing and received four weeks before the event. Cancellations resulting from visa or other essential travel document refusal by the authorities will result in full fees being refunded on presentation of official documentation to support the refusal. Substitutions can be made at any time with prior notice.
All costs incurred, which are not part of the services offered by the conference organizers or their agents, by sponsors, exhibitors and delegates as a result of their attendance at a conference are the responsibility of the sponsors, exhibitors and delegates and not Reconnaissance International Ltd or any associated company.
Payment
Payment for all products and services offered by the company can be made by cheque (check), bankers transfer, Visa, Mastercard or Amex.
All payments will be in pounds sterling, unless the customer is based in a country where the standard currency used is either the US dollar or euro, in which case, the corresponding currency will be invoiced and payment accepted.
All credit card payments will be processed in pound sterling from our UK office.

Pricing Policy
It is Reconnaissance International’s policy to publish prices as early as possible before publication or the date of an event. However should there be any unexpected variances in exchange rates between publishing our prices and the date of an event or publication, we reserve the right to change or amend our prices in one or all of the currencies in which we publish our prices. However, once a deposit is made, no increase in price will be made, despite any variance in exchange rate.
In some of the countries where we hold conferences, VAT is applicable. This will be charged in addition to conference fees at the rate prevailing in that country. Delegates can subsequently reclaim the VAT from the relevant tax authorities.
